Temporary After-Sales Support Program
Xiaomi is offering free repairs for devices damaged in recent floods and heavy rains that have affected several regions in China. The company has announced a temporary after-sales support program that covers smartphones, tablets, laptops, wearables, and some home appliances in the disaster-affected areas.
Program Details
The initiative is in effect from May 22 to June 20, 2026, and primarily covers affected areas in the provinces of Jiangxi, Hunan, and Hubei. Xiaomi states that users of Xiaomi and Redmi phones, tablets, fitness bands, watches, headphones, and laptops can receive free diagnosis, cleaning, and repair of water damage caused during the storm.
Program Terms
It is also reported that Xiaomi service centers will provide visitors with charging devices, Wi-Fi access, and drinking water. Users who meet the criteria can either visit supported offline centers or submit a repair application by mail in some regions.
Covered Regions
The support program also extends to Mijia ecosystem products and large home appliances that have been damaged by floods or flooding. The covered regions include parts of Ganzhou in Jiangxi Province, several counties in Hunan Province, and the districts of Jingzhou and Enshi in Hubei Province.
